We are ashamed to admit, but those Fake Ads got
us. We all want these miracles to happen and the easy way. Well, people beware!
Who doesn’t want to lose 30 pounds in a month or have their wrinkles disappear?
I MEAN COME ON! Well that’s why there are so many out there. The Shark Tank
cast mates have been publicly known for sharing their disgust regarding the
large amount of Fake Ads on the internet and SM utilizing their images and
purported as having invested in and promoting products they did not. Things
they know will attract people and that people will want to buy. Lori said,
“These fake ads scam people into buying products that make false promises
they’ll lose weight overnight or their skin will never wrinkle. (Yah, I’m the
sucker). But they are false claims and products we have nothing to do
with. It kills me because people will give these scammers their credit
cards and they wind up getting billed hundreds of dollars of their hard earned
money and on top of that they have difficulty cancelling. The horrible thing
for us sharks is they use our images to make people trust their ads. I’ve
invested incredible amounts of time and money with my counsel and I know my
fellow sharks have too, but more pop up all the time. All I can do is share,
read carefully and if it looks too good to be true it probably isn’t”. So
are these fake ads real? If this hasn’t convinced you they are not, I
have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn. I’m adding this here because,
as I said at the start, embarrassingly, I am one of those that got scammed! All you have to do is see one of these ads and
click, and you can start to see the signs they are not. Buyers beware!
